In this video I’m discussing the possible loss or change of memory over time of people. I go in depth on the memory and talk about what people have written about memory in the past. I refer to a book by Richard Ned Lebow who gives a possible framework for us to describe 3 different type of memories: Collective Memories, Institutional Memories and Individual Memories. Now what happens if they all get mixed up together? Right, we remember the wrong thing while we think it’s the truth. This post is not written to say that every veteran is lying, actually it’s the exact oposite! When veterans tell those stories, they actually think they’re telling the truth because they are unware of memory loss or changes, Therefore, when talking with veterans always use multiple sources, especially when you’re performing a research.

Greetings Joe from the U.S.,
Do they offer a class at the University in film making ? It might help you with technical issues in your videos. Maybe they also have a writing class where you can better organize what you want to say on your videos.
I know there are language issues and being where im from, I find it difficult sometimes to understand what you have said and the organization of your words.
As for me, I love WW2 history. It is great that you show overlay maps. It is also great to see before and after pictures, if you can find them!
You are on the correct path. Being precise with your diction would help too.
Wonderful journeys to you!
